5 Minute Supercharge

In this week’s Project Joy healing audio, we focus on releasing the pressure and stress that can surface during the work day. And we do this in 5 minutes.

This healing is a great one to use at the beginning of the day, before you start your work, or anytime during the day to help you re-focus, reconnect to yourself and recharge. This is an easy-access oasis of calm, helping you to release any stress or overwhelm that may be surfacing, helping it dissolve and release and helping you come back to the present moment, so you can be more effective and intentional with your time and actions. And so you can come back to your body (out of the monkey mind) and feel good.

If you’d like to try a super-mini-version on your own, you can start here, and follow the simple steps.

  1. Find a place to sit, feet on the floor, back nice and straight (don’t lean into back of chair).
  2. Notice your breath and imagine a tiny-sized you travelling in and out of your lungs with each inhale and exhale. Notice the travel path of your breath.
  3. Invite every inhale and exhale to be deeper and longer than the one before.
  4. Imagine your inhales travelling to every part of your body, expanding to include your head, fingers and toes. Your exhales sweep through those areas, helping to release any stuck-ness, tightness and tension.
  5. Keep those beautiful breaths going until you feel an easy flow, feel present in your body. You will likely feel an actual “shift” in your physical self and energy.
  6. Repeat as necessary. 🙂
